Just new to web site and find it really nice to be able to at least see a response as other sites go down and you never know where you stand .
Keep up the great work as your efforts are really appreciated

This is getting beyond a fucking joke.

it seems that tvf is on rough sailing these year.
i hope that tvf will be “less” down next year as it is really a pain when tvf is down.

Unfortunately server issues are server issues and there is not really anything that can be done to prevent them from happening when they happen. I personally feel that Viper does a stunning job of keeping the board running smoothly from day to day and does keep us informed as to what the problem is and when he is able too also gives an estimate of downtime. I have used several forums and TVF is around the best, everything is nice and easy to find, everyone is friendly and they are 2 very good reasons as to why spread the name of TVF. Sure it goes down from time to time, but, so do all the other forums of a similar nature.

Thanks Psychoca, well said. As much as I HATE this downtime crap, every site I have ever been to goes thru it. It’s not like w*lmart, there is certain things that have to be done to keep things going right, a lot of things, not just for this site but for every w*r3z site. i’m not putting anyone down, I do hope that everyone remembers the best part of TVF, and that is the great and friendly community, at least that is my favorite part. I love it, i hate when I am on another site and someone asks for help, and then you see 6 posts making fun of someone being a no*b. Again I hate the downtime, it does Viper or any of us mod’s or admin any good to have this downtime, so trust me efforts are being made, and it is just as frustrating on this end, but I feel your pain here guys…and I know viper will get us all fixed before long… (steps off soap box)
